House Rules: Character
Creation
Character creation follows the standard
creation method detailed in the Player's Handbook with
one exception. Players roll two complete sets of attributes and
select the one set which they like best. Players may then
arrange the scores in any way they desire. Sometimes this
generates a clear "winner" for a player as far
as picking between the two sets goes, however many times
it also offers a challenging decision as a player weighs
the benefits of each set. This method also tends to
create PCs with one high score, one low score and a
collection of average to slightly above average scores.
